Background

The National Statistical Office, which plans and coordinates overall national statistical activities, is the central administrative role of the Republic of Korea that provides services to investigate, analyze and deal with various economic and social matters.
It consists of a headquarter and some local offices, and about 3,000 public officials are in office. By increasing officials, the authorization should have been divided due to the work process.
So, they decided that each local office's adopted card printer for temporary/permanent employees, judging that it would be more efficient to issue it in each center, besides the central office would manage the increasing number of investigators' attendance.
Solution
Nationally Integrated issuance through SmartID.
SmartID provided massive data management and card issuance simultaneously through the one integrated program.
Its characteristic is that it's easy to issue cards without any special manipulation.
It was compatible with SMART-51 which is the high-speed print model supporting up to 212 cards per hour and could be adopted within the operating budget at an affordable cost.

Thanks to combination with SMART solution, National officials in charge of issuing the investigator's badge added the comment that they were extremely pleased to be able to issue cards more flexible and voluntary than when cards issued in central, plus, IDP solution ensured that simply usage and high standards expected of us.
